Hi! I am a Registered Acupuncturist and Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine with 8 years of post secondary education. In my general practice, I care most about supporting people to feel amazing; to help them achieve their goals of physical, mental, and emotional health and well being through:
- Ear Seeds
My approach is holistic and focused on a safe non-judgemental experience. TCM has very effective tools to remedy the everyday ways we feel sick, unbalanced or not ourselves. It is my privilege to see how those tools improve my patient's health in so many ways. Erin
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) understands the human body with meridians, connections between organs, muscles, nerves, and other systems. TCM is based on knowledge gained and practices refined over thousands of years in China.
We are intrigued by how patients respond quickly and effectively to treatments of Acupuncture, and Chinese herbs. We have successfully treated patients with health problems throughout the whole body: cancer care and support, anxiety, shingles, stress, bells palsy, phantom pain syndrome, digestive problems (IBS), musculoskeletal pain, migraines, sinus infections and more.
With means of Acupuncture, Cupping and Herbal Medicine, we provide the body with adequate tools for it to begin to heal internally

I am writing to pass on my thanks for the excellent care and attention with which you have attended to my health concerns. Your passion to help improve quality of life shines like a beacon of light.
You have made such an amazing impact on my health. Your comprehensive review of me showed that you really want to ensure you are helping all of your clients in every facet of their wellness.
It is very important to me that our health professional listens and takes the time to evaluate rather than just medicate. Thats exactly what I get at Urban Roots.
Overall I am incredibly satisfied with the level of expertise and service I received while being treated by Max, and would highly recommend treatment to anyone in need
Foundational Movement Therapy was fantastic and so relevant! Tuning in to transform sciatic discomfort, knee pain and many compounded compensatory movements into a conscious pain free state will forever change the way I move and hold my body.
